In this second shiur on berchas "Es Tzemach Dovid" in Shemoneh Esrei, Reb Yerachmiel discussed the enigmatic phrase "V'Karno Tarum Be'Shuasecha" and provided multiple explanations as explained by Chazal. Along the way, insights were provided into the character and qualities of Chana Ha'Neviah, Shmuel Ha'Navi, Dovid Ha'Melech and Moshiach ben Dovid, each of whom has shychus to the many definitions of the "Keren" of Am Yisroel.

nice photo!
This was a great shiur (I was in attendence). Per Reb Yerachmiel, this coming week's shiur should be on the topic of MOSHIACH BEN YOSEF!!!
Devorah- have a listen to the shiur and you'll see how nice and relevant a photo it really is.
A Talmid
For some reason I thought it would be in Hebrew. OK I'm listening to it now. Thanks.
Todah Rabbah bishveel haklata.
Nice, thanks for posting
i like how you spell "shychus". it reminds of when i once found in a sefer the word "ruchnious" ;) whats better than lashon hakoidesh?
In response to the inquiry re: the source of the medrash mentioned at the finale of the shiur, it is Eicha Rabbah, Parsha Beis:Vav.
Miri-
Perhaps the "Shy" in shychus was intentional. After all, in order to have true, meritorious "shychus" to Elokim ve'adam, one must control and ones gaivah; i.e. have an element of "shy" in their personality. :-)
I'm in Baltimore for a chassuna today. Any idea what time the shiur at the Kollel is?
8:30pm tonight
