She's not saying she personally thinks the song is innappropriate. She's asking why I don't think that if I want to be consistent.

Anon 12:26,

Because you started your question in a more open way, I'll start with a clarification that I saw no point in making on the earlier post. I actually never said that the music in "L'choh" or anything else was too goyish. What I had said was that to the singers/artists themselves, doing *actual* goyish music would have been "too goyish," which is why they were doing essentially the same thing, but with Jewish words; i.e., as a way of doing the kind of doing the kind of music they wanted to do without the "goyish feeling" they would have had by doing the same music with some secular words to the songs.

But your current question is about whether the "Na Nach" song, or any other "Jewish" song is "appropriate."

I have to go. I'll be back...DixieYid (يهودي جنوبي)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03713423988723533390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2606399196932045640.post-47142665231522965352010-01-06T12:42:30.811-05:002010-01-06T12:42:30.811-05:00SERIOUSLY ANON WHY IS IT NOT.SERIOUSLY ANON WHY IS IT NOT.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2606399196932045640.post-11300328201781284242010-01-06T12:26:57.451-05:002010-01-06T12:26:57.451-05:00Seriously Dixie - why is the techno-fied music in ...Seriously Dixie - why is the techno-fied music in this video ok?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2606399196932045640.post-33449145850086112312010-01-05T19:22:33.507-05:002010-01-05T19:22:33.507-05:00its by reb moshe levy shlit"a, a wonderful yi...its by reb moshe levy shlit"a, a wonderful yid from ramat beit shemesh, and it was the anthem of uman rosh hashanah 5768 (maybe 5769)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2606399196932045640.post-73224438416294129742010-01-03T22:31:46.395-05:002010-01-03T22:31:46.395-05:00hilarious! do you know the song in the video?hilarious! do you know the song in the video?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
