For the second time on Monday, we noticed that our four year old son had washed his disposable bowl and spoon before throwing them away. I was highly amused by this since it would seem pointless to me to wash something that will be thrown in the garbage in a minute anyway. So I asked him why he was washing them even though he was about to throw them away?He answered me that he just likes to make dirty things clean. G-d willing he should always be that way!

It's brought down that the Alter of Kelm's grand-daughter, who was the great-grandmother of R Dessler's children would tell her grandchildren not to say "dirty", but instead say, "not clean".
