Real Chassidim have nothing to do with such characters

As for my comment.... such things are pass nicht for Chassidim... real serious ones that Dixie attempts to be given his postings from Rav Morgenstern

A blog is no place to give mussar.
The chosid shoite is the worst of all.
True, but a blog is a great place to receive mussar.

There are so many requirements to be qualified to give mussar to someone al pi halacha. One of them is that the two be very close. The anonymity of the blogging world certainly precludes that.
So I repeat and expand: a blog is an inappropriate place to give OR receive mussar.
I am no talmid of the Alter but perhaps my pirush on his words would be that each person is his own mussar sefer. Not for others.
Although chasidus very much de-emphasizes criticism except for certain opportune times, but that is another discussion entirely..
