Bilvavi Mishkan Evneh Author Available to Speak
The Author of the Seforim, Bilvavi Mishkan Evneh will be in the New York area Sunday-Thursday, August 26-30, 2007. The flyer above is being distributed and you may contact the guy there to arrange to have the author of the Bilvavi seforim speak at your Shul, organization, or yeshiva. As you know if you've seen the videos (links to them are available in the Bilvavi links section of the right sidebar), he will be speaking in easy Hebrew.
For those of you who have not learned the seforim or watched the video shiurim yet, the Rav has an amazing ability to explain the depth within the simplest truths and open up a path to make them accesible to people like us. I highly recommend that you forward the flyer I've scanned above to anyone who might be interested in having him speak. It is a rare opportunity that people will have to connect to the Tzaddik during that week that he will be in the New York area.
Update: Here's the schedule.

why did he decide to reveal his identity?
All I have heard is that he was advised to do so by several Tzaddidkim so that he could teach and be mefarseim the teachings.

Did he indeed Decide to reveal his Identity?
I haven't heard his name mentioned anywhere else...
It would seem obvious that he has made that decision. He's giving regular shiurim in Yerushalayim and Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv shiur is available on the internet at shorashim.info (which sponsored the shiurim) and bilvavi.net. They're also available in the Bilvavi links section on the right sidebar. He spoke in L.A. a couple of months ago. He's speaking all around New York in August, IY"H. So it sounds like he has decided to be public. Though I still do not use the Rav's name when I mention him on this blog, so as not to emphasize it. That is according to his wishes. I had someone call him and ask him if I may use his name now, since he is indeed public. I was asked not to so I don't. The creator of that flyer, however, does use the name. Presumably, he has been authorized to do so for the purposes of that flyer. But you can certainly call him if you want to be sure. For the time being, I will continue not to use the Rav's name in this venue until I know that the Rav doesn't mind. Be well!

Will he be coming to Brooklyn?
Call the contact person and ask. If not, perhaps you can help organize it!
