Ma'aseh of How the Rebbe Reb Mailech Helped Win the 6 Day War

An anonymous commenter alerted me to this ma'aseh by Rav Bina, who teaches at Yeshiva Netiv Areye, where he tells over how, through the zechus of the Rebbe Reb Meilech (Elimelech) of Lizhensk, the Jewish people defeated Egypt in the 6 Day War.

That is the most impresive story I have ever heard from Reb Elimelech but her somthing else amazing.
I Just heard a great Vort on the Parsha, that I must Share. Why is Aish Chosen To be the Melacha That is stated separately? Simple look around today, you can do all other Melachos through it with the usage of electric.

PS: Rav Bina is actually the Rosh yeshiva of Netiv Aryeh.

I once heard him tell over how he was privilaged to learn along with one other person b'chavrusa with HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievski Shlita in his Ponovitch days (once a week) and also how he gave Rav Chaim a treadmill for excercise in the last few years (which apparantly Rav Chaim actually uses[/d]!

Anon, thank you for the vort. Assuming electricity is the issur of Aish, that's great hashgacha for why that isur was specified.

Shaya, thanks for the clarification. I'd heard of Rav Bina, but since I think I've heard of him for longer than NEtiv Areye's been around, I assumed he only taught there and was based somewhere else. And B"H that y'all've got a Rosh Yeshiva with such a kesher with Rav Kanievski. Ashrecha!

PS: I don't attend and have never attended Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh; rather I just heard the Rosh yeshiva speak a few times.
