Amazing Video of Ponovitch Yeshiva & Other Mosdos in 1950s
It's Ponevezh, not Ponovitch. A correction is in order.
Reminds me of an entry in the Encyclopedia of the city of NY on Borough Park, which mentions Hassidic groups there, listing one of them as the Belts, instead of Belz.

I discovered a couple days ago I have family from Ponovezh! Along with Vilna, which I've known forever. Hashem has a good sense of humor.

The Alter Rebbe was known as der litvak among the chasidim harishonim..
