T'hei Nishmasah Tzrurah B'tzror Hachaim Es Hashem

May her Soul be bound up in the bonds of eternal life with Hashem

Nineteen days after my daughter and I went down to visit my grandmother in Corpus Christi, she was nifteres, passed away, on Leil Shabbos, Shabbos night.

She passed peacefully and IY"H, I will head back down for the funereal in the next day or two. She was my last living grandparent, like I said before, so I am very happy that I was able to see her one last time before it was too late. She was over 90 years old and experiencing a lot of pain for the last few months so I know this was something that she was not afraid of.

May the mitzvos that she did in her lifetime stand by her side and guard, escort and protect her as she goes on to Gan Eden, the world of reward, to be with Hashem.

May her neshama have an aliyah, and may you and all her family be comforted amongst the mourners of Yerushalayim. Bracha and nechama to you and yours.

I am so sorry to hear this news, Dixie Yid. I know how devastating it can be to lose a last grandparent and a connection to that generation. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time.

I was very moved by your previous post and so sorry to hear this news. It's good that you were able to reconnect with her, shortly before the end came; I'm sure it gave your grandmother a sense of peace to know that the next generation is thriving and that she is remembered. Sending comforting thoughts to you and your family.
