The Difference Between Growing Up With Yeshiva or Without

Neil Harris has posted my answer to the following question on his blog, Modern Uberdox:

As a parent who didn't go through the days school/yeshiva system who has children currently in the system, have there been things that they have learned that suprised you in a postivie way?

I answered him with some stories and interesting comparisons between how I grew up in secular private school and a Catholic high school, and how my kids upbringing in a Beis-Yaakov-like school differs greatly!
